Happy Mayan New Year

Hey Rider Readers!

So my last post was intended to be a happy birthday post. Well it turned out I had posted it on the right day. 

Many of ya'll have seen this picture on the news, Facebook, and everywhere online saying it marks the end of the world predicted by the Mayans. Well this calendar is actually Aztec. The Mayan Calender looks a little like  this...(image from vandergreg.blogspot.com) 

Also it doesn't mark the end of the world it marks a Mayan new year. The media is even using the right calender so how can you trust them to even know if its accurate?

We've also heard about a recent event that occurred at an elementary school last week. Well this is the only mention I'm going to give that event, one of the reasons is because the media hype makes people want to top it and do it bigger, and the second reason is because these shootings make me want to crawl into a dark place and hided till its all over. No one ever remembers the victims and only care until something else comes along to distract them. They like these pictures on Facebook or retweeting this stuff and the sad thing is they think that the tiny things they do online actually do something. Liking that picture isn't going to feed the hungry and Sharing that picture isn't going to do anything for cancer victims.  

I read a couple weeks ago that  someone made an attempt to kill and castrate Justin Bieber. Most people commented on how the guy wouldn't have found  anything to cut off. I don't like the guy either but have some respect someone just tried to kill the guy. Beiber is clearly OK but that doesn't give anyone the right to mock him like that. 

On a more cheerful note I realized why Justin Beiber has a bigger following than My Chemical Romance, its all about marketing. You can go to wal-mart and find like 4 different Justin Beiber dolls that include the "new haircut and his adorable dog", yes that is quote from the box, But you wouldn't find a single MCR t-shirt or a fabulous Killjoy doll, which would be really awesome, though they do have some awesome fanart.

HEY HEY HEY Rider Readers!!!

Since I don't remember the exact date I started this blog last year, Toady is the Birthday or Anniversary Of Just Stuff. sorry haven't posted in a while I've been really behind in school and finals are next week. The only reason I'm  writing this right now is because I need a break from studying or I'm gonna lose my mind. 

I'm sure most of y'all in the U.S and on Facebook heard about Obama winning the election, I know old news, and that the people of Texas wants to succeed from the Union. My question is if Texas Succeeds what happens to Texarkana? Does it become and international border? Anyways the state government in Texas already put their foot down on them succeeding. The Texans said they wanted to succeed so they could use pesticides or something like that. Pesticides actually kill most of the environment and can cause birth defects and a bunch of other problems. Really their just throwing a tantrum because Obama won again. 

People get mad because they say that Obama isn't Christian and he believes differently than we do. Mitt Romney is Mormon and doesn't believe the same as Christians do  so why are y'all all jumping on his band wagon. I don't no much about the Mormon faith but I do know this is a bunch of pot and the kettle bull crap.
That being said I don't actually care if Romney is Mormon. I've made it clear since the very beginning believe what you wanna believe that doesn't mean I have to agree with you  but then again you don't have to agree with me.

Deer season and Halloween

Hey rider readers, in honor of Halloween I'm writing this in Orange, if its to bright let me know and I'll change it.


Deer season is here and it's almost modern gun season. I love hunting season, its so relaxing, sitting up in a deer stand in the early morning, you don;t actually know if a deer  is going to come out. It's something my family has been doing for years and in my opinion, its great.

My first rant of the day is about  politics, so be prepared.

A man was beaten in Wisconsin because he had a Romney/Ryan sign in his yard.
A woman in Louisiana was burned for wearing an Obama t-shirt. 97% of her body was burned and people are being stupid when someone disagrees with them about anything. Some of Y'all are probably gonna disagree with me for saying I like hunting on here but am I gonna hunt you down and hurt you? No that would be stupid, you're entitled to your opinions and I'm okay with that. 
 This election is getting bad and I'll be glad when it's over.



Well Sparknotes  is letting sparklers post now and I'm actually happy about that, about a year ago I tried writing for Sparknotes but my posts that I sent in didn't get approved. It bugged me at first but Then I just started this blog, and soon just stuff will be celebrating it's first Anniversary, so tell your friends. 

I'm also entering NaNoWriMo this year. mostly it'll be to get more written on the Shadow book. As of June I have eight pages so that's coming along slowly.

The political post

Hey hey rider readers.

Its election year, which means Facebook is blowing up with political posts. people are declaring their Love/hate for Obama, Romney and whoever else is running. ( I mostly just hear about Obama and Romney)

Well its time for the rant. 

Shut up about who you're voting for. The only place that actually matters is in the voting booth.  i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that doesn't mean you have to blow up my timeline with your crap. An opinion is like a butt everyone has one but no one wants to hear it. and most of the stuff y'all are posting is irrelevant to the election anyways. While there is nothing wrong with saying what you think there is a such thing as over doing it, and sometimes it just makes you seem like an idiot. 

Changing the subject now. Went to see the Possession with some of my friends the other night. Its a good movie, the theater was packed though. We had went to eat before the movie and that didn't go well at all. If you're going to seat people outside make sure that they are being served. We were there an hour before they finally served our food and the people at the table next to us left before they could be served. my friends figure they were waiting awhile before they left.

Hello minions

School has officially started and I have already been assigned a test, essay, and a speech, gotta love college. Well it actually not that bad most of my classes are mostly easy. So good luck to everyone going back to school.

Not really much to post, useless, irrelevant stuff in the news. never anything interesting going on in town. 

People just seem to get stupider and stupider.

Chick-fil-a

Hey Y'all there's been a lot going on lately and you may not agree with what i have to say.


Most of y'all have heard about the stuff going on with Chick-fil-a. Well they released a statement saying they are against gay marriage.  I don't really agree with them cause I don't actually care, but I will give them credit. They had guts to say that, and while I'm not gonna eat there it has nothing to do with what they said, I just like KFC better. The Bible says a man should not lie with a man as he does a woman, but doesn't religion also teach about acceptance of your fellow man?  I think we could do a better job of accepting people no matter what they believe or who the love, or what their race is.  But as I said earlier I have no problem with Chick-fil-a. I'm giving them points for having the guts to stick with what they believe in, and this is not a rant this is my calm opinion if you don't like it don't get mad I'd love to hear y'alls opinions but no fighting, there's way to much of that in this world.

Hey people


So there isn't much going on right now except the new Step Up movie coming out soon. I'm just dying to see it. It seems so cool. (sarcasm hand) Seriously they're making another one? this is maybe the fifth step up movie and its gone on way to long. Stop making crap movies and get to work on something good!
What is with Hollywood and these awful movies? And why do actors think they need to write books? 
You're already rich, give some of us a chance and maybe then there'd actually be something good to read. Why are authors trying to do a spin off series? Tie the important details but leave some stuff to the imagination. Don't leave a cliff hangar, but keep us guessing, we don't need a whole new series involving the exact same characters doing the same thing just a different bad guy, that's boring. Its also boring for every heroine t have superpowers or be the girl  everyone loves, cause lets face it the only people who like a Mary Sue  are people in the books. (no offence if you name is actually Mary Sue)


That's it now get to writing, movie making or what ever it is you do and make it interesting.

Hey people,

Well I didn't sleep last night and I can't think of anything right now. You'd think that I'd be crashed out at my computer but i'm actually feeling kind of hyper.


Now for my rant.don't stay up all night trust me its not worth it. I don't want to go to bed but i can't really think as well as I normally can. i did however manage to get my room a little organized. anyways you need sleep so don't follow my example.

So I've decided to work  on my book today. Its not really going well cause I'm missing a lot of my original work for this book. I had it during school but I lost the notebook it was in. Now everything that I typed I still have and I have revisions for a little later but right now there's just this gap that I can't fill. I figure I'm gonna go back to my book after I post this and try and focus my thoughts long enough to bs an acceptable bridge for the gap thing, who knows it may be better then my original  plan.

just a little update

Hey Rider Readers, I'm trying to come up with a nick name like the mishamigos (aka minions). 
If y'all come up with something cute, clever, or incredibly cheesy let me know in the comments.


I found this cool mini series on netflix call Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Its the only show where you actually want the super villain to win. basically its Dr. Horrible when hes not being evil hes trying to get this girl, and build a freeze-ray and other things. Its actually really good considering its a musical.


I'm gonna miss the deadline for this writing contest, the deadline is in maybe ten days and I've only written maybe 9 pages out of at least 200, so I'm gonna keep writing and hope its ready by next years contest. If i'm still stuck then I could maybe use it for NaNoWrMo. 


The new season of Pretty little Liars started and I've already missed an episode, so I'm going to be so lost Tuesday.

Dear Hollywood

 Hey!! So today i tried watching the original Friday the 13th , one made in the 80's not the Jared Padalecki version. So I was watching and I realized that no matter when it was made all scary movies are the same, too much Whore not enough Horror. I mean really I'd rather have to look away because some one is getting their eye gouged out then have to skip most of the movie cause I want to be scared. I don't want the scariest part of the movie being when my parents decide to watch with me and the people start doing it. So here's my message to Hollywood more violence less sex. Please. 


Yeah it's kinda of a rant again (i seem to do that a lot) but hey at least I'm not swearing.

Hey y'all I graduated Friday!!!! I'm turning 18 Saturday. So with all this stuff going on why am I out of the frying pan? Because I'm finished with high school. How does that put me in the fire? Because today I applied for my finical aid in college. I've decided to teach middle school Language arts, and Social Studies.I'm not sure why i want to teach but history is interesting to me. 

We went to St louis about 2 weeks ago and my friend almost got attacked at the zoo. Not by a bear or a lion or something but my a goose. Geese are really mean, we saw one goose try and take on like 3 flamingos. 

Well I'm gonna go relax and enjoy my summer till school starts.

Pride and Prejudice

Hey people So we've been reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen in my history class. Shir summary: Elizabeth is the second of 5 girls, all of them either marrying age or close to it. So all their mother wants is for them to marry rich. Which most of them do. My question is this, if the girls only marry for money and social standing, does that make them gold diggers? I mean Elizabeth wanted to marry for live which he did, the man she married just happened to be rich. We had prom last Friday and it was so much fun. Seniors have about 12 days left, and next Friday I'm going in the Senior trip, this schools first ever senior trip. Unforutualty my cousins wedding shower is scheduled for the weekend I'm gone, so I'm gonna miss it. Atleast I'll be able to attend the wedding. Well that's all folks. Gotta get back to my homework. Can't sleep

Hey people it is a little past midnight here and I felt like giving sone late night advice. Most schools in the U.S have parenting classes and those stupid baby doll projects, well I'm not sure so I'll just assume it. Anyways if you're given the option of and alternate assignment then I suggest you take it. I have on if the babies tonight and only for tinigt and I just know that other them the weird breathing sounds I'm gonna have to deal with fussiness, diapers, feeding, and a heck of a lot of screaming.I don't actually mind cause its only a school night but Prom is this friday and I don't want bags from lack of sleep. Really what the crap!!

Hey people, today I'm talking about Facebook.


 Lately I've been seeing a lot of crap like "like this photo if yoh believe in God, ignore if you're going to hell" well to all those people I say this, Shut the fudge up. I'm a Christian and last time I checked God doesn't care if I like your freakin picture. It's crap to make people feel superior to others an make others feel like they're a bad person cause the don't give a flying flip. Another thing that's been pissing me off is this Most Beutiful Teen contest. So we've gotten to the point where the only way a girl can feel good about herself is if she gets the approval of random strangers? Some please tell me what this world is coming to. I could understand if you put like a cancer patient, or a girl who actually needs an ego boost on there, it'd make em feel like someone thinks they're beautiful. But the girls I'm seeing on there are girls who's egos are already so big they think they're the next Kim Kardashian!! I can understand wanting to feel beautiful but this is only an opportunity for you to get stared at by creepiers and people who hate you cause you're pic looks exactly like thiers. I just don't think girls should subject themselves to this cause they may not get as many likes as they want and then we get a depressing status saying "no one loves me" or "I'm ugly and fat" it just kid of pisses me off. That's about it.

Spring break has officially ended and we had our first day back to school. Its Monday and I'm already making plans for the weekend. The Hunger Games has finally come out in theaters, and I, like so many, am psyched to see it, I'm also hoping the "fandom" doesn't kill it for me.

What I am tired of though is ads for The Secret Life of the American Teenager. First off, not all teen focus on having sex.. Most of us worry about being able to keep beta, school clubs, etc. If the commercials are anything to go by the one girl is still in high school, getting married, and pregnant with her second kid. And its not that the girls are all getting pregnant on the show, I couldn't care less about that, its that when the show started they had a plot and a goal o promote abstinence now it just seems cliched. I mean 16 and pregnant and Teen Mom both have girls that are actually living this. 


Now congratulate me cause in exactly 1 month i will be done with high school!!!!!

Invisible Children

Hey everyone, 

Today I'm going to switch from my usual rant and hit you with a more serious matter, the Invisible Children in Africa. 

For the past Twenty years or so this guy Joesph Kony has been kidnapping children and making them join his army, the girls become sex slave and the boys are forced to fight. Now you are probably wondering if this man has some kind of cause that he is fighting for? Well he doesn't all he want is to have power. He is the leader of of a guerrilla group called the Lord Resistance Army and he uses children  to fight his army. Goes into villages at night take the children and makes them kill their parents. He uses boys as soldiers and girls as sex slaves. eight years ago this was brought to the attention of the US government and they said they couldn't help. after a lot of public participation this was brought back to the government, this time the US government sent in soldiers to help the Ugandan military find and arrest Kony. Here's the thing though no one knows who Kony is, but you can help the invisible children. Watch this video and fined out how you can help solve this problem, we are the Kings and Queens of promise and everyone has the power to help.

Hey people. 

OK normally I don't involve myself in these arguments but I'm tired of seeing this crap every time I get on face book. Now this tangent is a little bit different then normal, my normal, that I've been told  by my friend Joy, is usually a rant about the "upper class". 

Well today's rant is about politics on Facebook.

Now I'm all for giving your opinion online, I'm a blogger if i was against it I'd be a freaking hypocrite, which I hate. But If you're gonna post something on Facebook about Politicians then goo to Snopes.com. its a fact checker, but it doesn't just stop at politics. I'm sure most of y'all have heard about the babysitter who discovered the clown statue that was actually a rapist or whatever. Well http://www.snopes.com/snopes.asp will let you know if those stupid chain letters are true or not.What I'm really trying to say is do your research before you post this crap online. Because nothing pisses me off then stupidity.

Speaking of Stupidity, it turns out Snooki is pregnant. I read this at school and all I could think was " oh God, Snooki is having a kid, that poor child, please tell me this is some kind of publicity stunt and she isn't really reproducing."

Tonight is  the Oscars and i can proudly say, I couldn't give two flying flips about a bunch of pretentious snobs be awarded for being fake. Yes I know acting is fake but personally I think people admire famous people to much. people give recognition to the people who don't deserve it. How many times do you see someone in the news for doing something that involves intelligence? Almost never, but this week I saw some BS crap about Eva Longeria's revealing dress. I swear if i see another post online about Whitney Houston I'm gonna go off. People have been so crushed about her death that they didn't even notice that at least ten Marines  died that same week. And how many Sports stars get mentioned in the news? People need to take more pride in academics. Maybe if they did the kids in America wouldn't be such illiterates. No my grammar  and my spelling isn't perfect but at least I don't type lyk dis i mean srrsly guys how irrat8ing is that?

Swamp people

Last night was the season 3 premier of Swamp people and it was pretty awesome. Liz went out on her own. RJ and Jay Paul had several brushes with death. Bruce got a new sniper, and Troy is still King of the Bayou for now. 


For those of you who don't know swamp people is about alligator hunters. Its extremely dangerous and  you have to be very careful. If you hesitate for a second it could mean your life.

Criminal minds

So I found out today I have a sinus infection :( never fun. If I'm running fever tonight I'm probably not going to school tomorrow. The up side is I get to spend the day watching criminal minds. something different

Alright I'm gonna try something different for this post I figure why not it's not like I've been writing much lately anyways. My sister told me that when I write I shouldn't think about it. So today in trig I was sitting bored so I started writing. I'm not sure where this story really came from but it was probably the easiest thing I've ever written.Alright now before you ask questions, where I'm from hunting is legal and very common. If you are at all offended by hunting and you think it should be illegal and outlawed then don't read this cause I don't wanna hear your opinion on hunting. So here it is:  


Mist swirled though the tress as gunshots rang though the early morning light. She rose from her hiding spot, under a moss covered tree, and hunts for her prey. 
 Silently creeping though the fallen leaves and broken limbs she spots her target. Suddenly the large ten point buck snaps to attention as it listens for this new threat. The hunter slowly raises her gun and steps back to adjust her balance. A loud crack rings though the still morning  as an icy branch is snapped under her foot. Panicked the deer runs taking shelter in a distant shelter. The girl shoulders her gun with a sigh  and returns to her truck, empty handed.

Christmas break is over and most kids are back in school to start a new semester on Monday. this seems like the perfect time to say after a two week break I'm  already ready to get out of school. I'm on of the spring. But until then I'm still stuck in school, what i wouldn't for a snow day. Last year my school had 3 days of from the snow and one day of cause the power was out, hoping for at least 2

2012!!!

Alright so this is the first post of 2012!! YAY!!! alright so my facebook is blowing up with happy new years and resolutions and crap, but most  people are saying they HOPE 2012 is better. I'm here to crush the dreams of all who are saying that. hoping doesn't do anything. you have to go out there and make it  better. Sorry but it's true. When life gives you lemons you gotta go find water and sugar or that lemonade's gonna suck thats just how things go. Well that's about it for today but let me leave you with this word of advice, if you're going to new years party at a deer camp and you want to wear those cute new boots you got, don't do it the next morning your feet will feel bruised.
